Guests can swim in the indoor pool, go skiing or cycling. This place is probably the best in Scotland for the value. If you want to feel yourself a part of nature, breath the freshest air ever -you should go for it staying in Highland club. Astonishing view and atmosphere of the Loch Ness , friendly welcome from the hosts ( two nice ladies) that showed us to every corner of the club and gave us a little history excurse on the place-all that makes us want to come back. We stayed at the cottage, and being a traveller, I can assure that the house is provided with everything you need: starting from welcome food, soaps and slippers ending up with whatever you neeed in the kitchen and a functioning fire-place. Children also enjoyed wild ducks with ducklings from the Loch Ness that showed up every morning right at our cottage door. The territory of the Highland Club is really large, clean and well-loooked after. Fort Augustus is only 3 minutes walk from the Highland Club. It is a sweet village that has a pleasant atmosphere of scottish heritage offerring several pubs and butcher's ( if you want to try the homemade fresh huggies))).There is a wonderful restaurant called Lovat in Fort Augustus. It is a restaurant for those who want to try something outstanding and really delicious, for those who are not' fish and chips' big fans:). Tender venison and lamb in their best presentation and taste, raspberry sorbet - our compliments and respect to the chef of Lovat restaurant. I definately recommend The Highland Club!

Kinloch was the most pleasant surprise of our month in uk and Europe. i have stayed at kinloch before and the renovations are outstanding. The indoor pool was nice. The food was better than anything on the island. i am almost reluctant to give such a favorable review as it might now be deluged with tourists but i was so pleased with every facet of my stay. If not for a tabby cat back in the states, i might just move in to the self catering floor for 6 months!

The woodland lodge was magical, the beds like sleeping on clouds!! The fireplace was charming and the facilities were excellent. There was even a decorated Christmas tree with lights!!! Such a wonderful touch that thrilled my Christmas obsessed 5 year old! Kids loved indoor swimming pool. We went from playing in the snow at the park outside our lodge to swimming!! So fun!! Great place, close to everything. Even have a cinema on site.
